Raymond Billie Wagner

Raymond Billie Wagner, 78, of Plainfield, IN, passed away on August 4, 2023, in Avon, IN.  Bill was born on September 13, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Raymond E. and Georgia (Smith) Wagner.  He attended George Washington High School.  Bill was an owner/operator truck driver till 2006 when he retired.  He would normally drive during the week and come home on the weekends, going all over the lower 48.  When Bill retired in 2006, he worked at Oaktree, as a cart manager, so he could stay busy and golf for free, a pastime that he loved.  He was a member of a golf league, a bowling league and a softball league at different times during the last 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Georgia Wagner.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Linda (Owens) Wagner; children, Susan Jones (Daniel Jones), Kimberley Helton (Reynold Helton), Billy Wagner (Angela Wagner), Wendy Mathews, Melissa Keeling (Royce Keeling), John Wagner and Ryan Wagner; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 4 sisters and 3 brothers; along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
