Phyllis Jean Scroggins

78, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, March 12,2017. She was born on September 18, 1938in Indianapolis, to the late Richard and Dorothy (South) Beckley. Phyllis was a 1956 graduate of Arsenal TechHigh School and worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She was very active in the local Moose Lodge Chapter11 and loved to play cards and Euchre. Phyllis was an avid sports fan; cheering on the Indianapolis Colts andPacers. She is survived by her children,Terri (John Bingham) Paff, Kim (Tony) Hull, Marc (Doris) Scroggins, TracyStubbs, Todd Scroggins; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 1Great-Great-Grandchildren. Phyllis isalso survived by her siblings, Linda Glotfelty and Virginia “Ginny”Davenport. She was preceded in death byher parents; and brother, Richard Beckley, Jr. Services will be private with placement at Washington Park East Cemeteryat a later date. Memorial contributionsmay be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association orthe Moose Lodge. Cremation servicesentrusted to Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Lawrence.
