Penny Ann Maxwell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Penny Ann Maxwell, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Penny, age 67, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 10, 1956 to Bob Maxwell and Thelma Hatter. 

Penny lived her life to the fullest, always with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was a social butterfly with a zest for life that was contagious to all who knew her. She wasn’t a stranger to anyone and surrounded herself with family and friends. She had a passion for playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Penny is survived by Dan Kunce, son David Beery, son Troy Davis (Crystal Davis), grandchildren Darrian Beery, Issac Beery, Peyton Beery, and her siblings Juanita Bynum, Eddie Hatter, Bobby Stone, Jimmy Stone, Marty Stone.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bob Maxwell and Thelma Hatter, Donna Sanders and Johnny Stone.

Penny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in peace, Penny Maxwell.

Services will be held at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services, 504 W. 9th St., Anderson, IN 46016, on March 13, 2024 with a visitation from 2-4pm, funeral services beginning at 4 pm.
