Paul Kehoe Wood

Paul Wood worked for Applied Industrial Technologies for over 40 years and quickly became the go-to guy for anything they supplied. He had been recognized for excellent customer service and had received a company President's award. Customers and company staff are saddened by the loss.

Paul was an avid Star Trek and other sci-fi fan and collector. He and his wife, Joanna often attended conventions as a result of being introduced to each other as fellow fans.

Paul also taught himself how to develop and present unique musical Christmas lights to music displays with help from other lighting enthusiasts in the Midwest. The free Edge-Wood-Lights shows began in 2010 and quickly became a staple for families of all ages. After so many inquires and offers of donation to support the show, Paul decided to collect for the charity Team Rubicon USA, an disaster relief organization helping veterans and those struck by disaster which started by his nephew, Jake.

Paul was survived by his wife of 33 years, Joanna, his brother Kevin Wood, sisters Kathleen (Wood) Barlett and Georgia (Wood) Chapline and their spouses Todd Barlett and Dwayne Chapline, and sister-in-law Christy (Jeff) Wood. Proceeded in death are his brothers Jeff Wood and Seth Wood, and his sister-in-law Debbie (Kevin) Wood. Also surviving are the previous spouses (Anita and Denice) of his brother Seth.

With a large family, he was blessed with many nieces and nephews, grand neices and nephews, and a couple of great-grand nephews. As the youngest of the Wood family, Paul established himself as the Toymaster who spoiled his sibling's children and often playing Santa for friends and family.

No funeral service will be held, however, Paul wished to have a Celebration of Life gathering which will be held at the Edgewood Golf and Dining facilities on October 4th between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Lastly, the Christmas light show will be up this year with a tribute to the great Toymaster at 2221 Winding Way in Edgewood, IN.
