Patricia Winters

Patricia Ann Winters, age 81, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024. She was born May 8, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Sarah and Thomas Parrish.

Patricia was a member of the Victory Temple Church for 20 years where she was “Mother Winters” and served as the choir director and a Sunday School teacher. She loved to cook, and especially loved making desserts. She had a love for sewing and never met a stranger. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steven Winters; her siblings, Andrew Parrish, Melvia Price, Viola Jefferson, Herbert Parrish, James Parrish, Tommy Parish, and Alice McKinney-Parson.

Survivors include her son, Andrew Winters, Jr.; daughter, Bonita Daniel (Willie); sisters, Denyse Gladney (Willie) and Sonja Brown (Dale); sister-in-law, Ines Parrish; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
