Patricia, Pat, Parsons, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away at her home on November 18, 2023 surrounded by the love of her life, William and other family members. She was born March 6, 1940, in Apollo, PA to the late Milton and Mildred Patterson. She retired from Kroger where she was a meat wrapper for 28 years.
Pat was known for her generous donation of time and talent to Southwood Baptist Church where she was the chairperson of the Kitchen Committee responsible for planning many dinners and church activities. She was also a snowbird going to Destin, FL for 16 years and loved playing cards with family and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, mentioned above, and brother Robert Patterson.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years…William Parsons of Indianapolis, sisters Carol Parsons and Maxine Frantz, two children Debra (Steven) Schwartz of Cincinnati, OH, and Diane (Bryan) Tanner of Indianapolis; three grandchildren Nikki (Michael) Drago, Jamie (Justin) Hood, and Evan Capps; three great-grandchildren Jayla Monroe, Jamison Reed, and Jaxson Hood.
No services are currently planned. Memorial contributions may be made to Southwood Baptist Church in Beech Grove, IN.
