Patricia Ann Lee

Patricia Ann Lee, beloved wife, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully in her own home on June 11, 2025, in Thorntown, Indiana. She was born on August 3, 1944, in Lebanon, Indiana, to the late Harold and Norma West. Patricia married Russell Lee on August 30, 1979, and she lived a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished moments with those dear to her.

Throughout her career, Patricia worked in various occupations, yet she found her greatest joy in serving others. Her favorite role was as a security guard in Memphis, Tennessee, where she brought her nurturing spirit to her work. She also had a successful career as a waitress, ultimately retiring from Bob Evans in 2012 after many dedicated years of service.

Patricia's proudest accomplishments in life, however, were in her personal relationships with family and friends. She devoted herself to others as a daughter, mother, stepmother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and recently, as a great, great grandmother. With her big heart overflowing with love, Patricia surrounded herself with family and friends. She cherished the last years of her life enjoying moments and unforgettable milestones with her family and that meant the world to her. 

Her personality shone brightly; she was known for her big heart and loving soul, always ready to share laughter and create good times with family and friends. An adventurous spirit, Patricia thrived on competition and was an avid bowler, coming "dang close to bowling a perfect game." Her interests were vast, including fishing, camping, visiting amusement parks, and enjoying various festivals. In her leisure time, she delighted in watching westerns and listening to the sweet sounds of country music.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Norma West, and her husband, Russel E. Lee. She leaves behind the warmth of her memory in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on June 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1604 W Morris St, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Following the calling, Patricia will be laid to rest beside her husband, Russell, at Floral Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of Patricia Ann Lee, a woman who truly embodied joy and kindness. Her legacy will continue to inspire those she loved.
