Patricia Ann Justice

Patricia Ann Justice, a beloved mother, passed away on September 23, 2023, after an extended illness. She was born Patricia Ann Leslie on May 26, 1945, in Anderson, IN, the daughter of Mary (Bennett) Leslie.

Throughout her life, Patricia exemplified the true meaning of motherhood. Her career as the "World's Best Mother" was her greatest accomplishment. She embraced her role as a momma bear with unwavering love and devotion to her family. Family was everything to Patricia, and raising her two boys, Timothy Justice and Samuel Justice (Sabrina), brought her immense joy.

Patricia had a heart filled with love for all living things. She was known for her caring nature and for never uttering a bad word about anyone. Her loving spirit touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Patricia's household was not only a home but also a sanctuary that she meticulously maintained. Her green thumb produced beautiful flowers that brightened both her own life and those around her.

In addition to her passion for gardening, Patricia took great pleasure in adorning herself with jewelry. Each piece she proudly wore reflected not only her personal style but also the sparkle in her eyes when she smiled. Another favorite pastime of hers was feeding the birds or cuddling with her cats. 

Patricia's unconditional love extended beyond her immediate family. She forged deep connections throughout her life and formed lasting bonds with those dear to her heart. Jewel Crawford was one such friend who stood by Patricia through thick and thin.

Patricia will be remembered not only for the love she poured into being a mother but also for the love she received in return from all whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving family, including her son Samuel Justice and his wife Sabrina, and her adoring grandchildren Audrianna and Tyler Justice. Her sister Brenda Huston and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also mourn the loss of a woman whose love knew no bounds. Melvin Bennett, a special cousin, holds dear memories of Patricia's warmth and kindness.

Patricia Ann Justice leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family. She taught us the importance of nurturing relationships, finding joy in the simplest of things, and always being there for those we hold dear. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, let us honor her memory by carrying forward the love she so wholeheartedly shared with us all.

She is preceded in death by her husband Vance Justice, beloved son Timothy Justice, Mother Mary Leslie, siblings Sam Leslie, Wanda Ancil, and Paul Leslie, nephew Jeffrey Ancil, niece Leslie Huston, and best friend Jewel Crawford.
