Pamella Saltsman

Pamella Saltsman, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 23, 2023.  She was born on November 3, 1953, in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Dean Saltsman and Norma Jean (Bolton) Staples.  Pam attended Harry Woods High School.  She worked thru the years in housekeeping and laundry at The Oaks.  Best memories of Pam are enjoying her time playing cards with her family and Bingo every chance she could.  Her other hobbies were crocheting and bowling, but most importantly the love of her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; her husband of 30 years, who just passed away on September 15, 2023, Carlton “Buddy” Horne Jr.

Pam is survived by her daughters, Pamela Conn (Bo), Shelly Phillips (Chris), Deborah Darland (Carl) and Sherry Ritchie (Jason); 17 grandkids and 21 great grandkids; siblings, Norma McKinney, Angela Tuyub, Tony Saltsman and Carolyn Abercrombie; along with many extended family and close friends.

Pamella’s visitation will be together with Carlton’s “Buddy” on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 10am to 1pm, with a service to start at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
