Olivia Marie Schmucker

Olivia Marie Schmucker was carried into the waiting arms of the Lord Jesus Christ at about 4:00PM on April 25, 2025. Olivia was born three months early on a cold, snowy day on January 13, 1993.

Olivia was a Christian who enjoyed church and attending the monthly dinners at the Disability Group Ministries and the weekly Friendship Bible Study meetings. She was the joy of her parent’s lives, and the apple of her Papa’s eye, who called her his Princess. Olivia participated in Youth Cook, Ainsley’s Angels, Camp Riley, and Joni & Friends Family Retreat.

Olivia attended Granville Wells Elementary and Western Boone Jr/Sr High School in Boone County and graduated from Broad Ripple High School, Indianapolis.

Olivia enjoyed her older brothers, Seth and Isaiah, who each took her to a high school prom. She loved to swing on a swing set when she was young. She enjoyed long walks with her family. Olivia loved music, including country and Christian contemporary. Among her favorites were Alan Jackson, Lauren Daigle, and Michael W Smith.

Olivia is survived by her father, Gary Schmucker, of Advance, IN; mother, Mary C Schmucker, of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Seth and Isaiah Schmucker, of Indianapolis, IN; her uncles, William Moorehead, of Indianapolis, IN, Roger Schmucker, of Goshen, IN, Arthur Schmucker, of Buchanan, MI, Curtis (Claudia) Schmucker, of Pensacola, FL, and Brian (Dawn) Schmucker, of Greenfield, IN.

She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Irvin Schmucker; George and Mary Moorehead; Harold and Bonnie Greeley; aunt, Betty Jo Rude; uncle, Edward Baker; two cousins, Joshua (Brian) Schmucker, and Michael (Roger) Schmucker; and beloved aunt, Carolyn Moorehead.
