Normarie Brandon, of Anderson, IN, died peacefully in her sleep on October 3rd, 2023, at Elwood Health and Living. She was 86.
 
She was born on February 4th, 1937, in Hanceville, AL. She was the eldest child of Grady Sr. and Louise Elmore.
 
Normarie graduated with an associate’s degree from Anderson College. She was a dedicated pastor’s wife serving in Crossett, AR; Athens, AL; Eaton, IN; and Vincennes, IN. She then served the National Church of God in various capacities, ultimately retiring as Director of Christians Broadcasting Hope.
 
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, church member, and friend.
 
Normarie is survived by her two sons, Jeff and Barry; her daughter, Melanie; her brothers, Grady Jr. and Ronnie; her sister, Debbie; her grandchildren, Taylor, Zach, Nick, Jared, Chloe, Jeremy, Carlee, and Peyton; and great-grandchildren, Harper, Lottie, Nolan, and Zadie.
 
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry; her sister, Margaret; her infant son, Gary; her infant great-granddaughter, Lorelai; and her parents.
 
Funeral services will be held at Chesterfield Community Church on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Grubbs officiating. A private burial will take place in East Maplewood Cemetery at a later time.
 
Visitation will be two hours preceding the Saturday service at the church.
