Nathan Coons, 70, passed away on August 3, 2024, in Westfield, IN. Nathan was born on January 29, 1954, as the only child of Lillian (Boughton) and George Coons. He was a proud graduate of Heron School of Art, class of 1977.
His parents, mentioned above, preceded him in death. Nathan is also preceded in his passing by his beloved wife, Mary. Nathan was honored to spend the last several years of his life taking care of Mary prior to her passing.
Nathan is survived by his daughter, Rachel. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Bryan, Josh, and Ashley, as well as his great grandchildren, Riley Evans and Grayson Robinson.
Burial arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests donations to be made to the American Kidney Fund in honor of his generous nature.
