Myra England

Myra Lee England, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 16, 2024. She was born on December 22, 1948, in Leeds, AL, to the late K.C. and Cora (McKinney) England. Myra graduated from Crispus Attucks High School.  She worked as a custodian at IU Hospital for 30+ years. Myra was a member of the Army National Guard for 28 years. 

Myra loved to cook. She will be remembered as the joy of the party and a generous friend who helped anyone she could.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; sisters, Joyce A England and Gloria J Majors; and brother, K.C. England Jr.

Myra is survived by her sisters, Teresa Calvert, Patricia Johnson, Virginia Cowan, Darlene Chandler, Linda Delores Pervine, and Shannon England; brothers, Michael England and Larry England; niece and caregiver, Eulonda Weather (Cecil); and god-sister, Barbara Smith, along with a host of other family members and friends.

It was Myra’s wish to not have a Homegoing Service. Cremation Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
