Michelle D. Wagner, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on March 12 1963.

Michelle was known for her vibrant spirit and boundless passion for life. She was a beloved figure in her community, characterized by her creative nature and her ability to uplift everyone around her.

Michelle's professional life was dedicated to the field of cosmetology. As an instructor, she taught at various prestigious institutions including Honors Beauty College, PJ's Beauty School, Empire Beauty School, and Paul Mitchell. She deeply loved her students and was committed to their growth and success in the beauty industry.

She graduated from Decatur Central High School and furthered her education at IUPUI Indianapolis, where she honed her skills and expertise that would later define her career in social work.

Michelle leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her daughter, Kelsey Vahle; her son, Dak Wagner; her granddaughter, Rileigh Vahle; her sisters, Sandra Lynn Hashman and Theresa Gore; and her mother, Sandra Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Gore.

A service to honor Michelle’s life will be held at 1604 West Morris St., Indianapolis, 46221. 5pm -7pm.

Michelle's life was a testament to the beauty and kindness she brought into the world, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
