Michela D. Hinson

Michela D. Hinson, age 47, of Anderson, tragically left this world on June 26, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1977, in Anderson.

Michela is described as one of the kindest people you could ever meet. Her smile and upbeat demeanor left all of those around her feeling happy. She was honest to a fault and always told you how she felt. She touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness. In her free time, Michela found joy in attending Rob Zombie concerts with her son and other family members, going to garage sales, or watching a horror movie. Her favorite character was Mickey Mouse, which tells you how happy of a person Michela was.

Throughout her career, Michela worked as a bus driver for the Anderson School Systems and the Anderson City Transportation CATS bus. She was a hard-worker and always made sure her family was taken care of. She loved her sons deeply and they will always remember the love she gave them.

Michela is survived by her sons Ridge Hinson and Nicholas Hinson; mother Deenia Robertson; brother Ryan Carlson; niece Athena Carlson; husband Jeremy Hinson; mother-in-law Lois Hinson; cousins Melody Hendricks, Gabriella Garcia, Patrick Garcia, Sara Soto, Krista, DJ, and Melissa Petersen, and several other cousins; and special friends Dorothy Ladd, Shelly Carlson, and Stacy.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Max and Lorraine Petersen, grandma and grandpa Robertson, father-in-law Roy Hinson, and Uncle Brian Petersen.
