Michael W Smith

Michael W. “Smitty” Smith, 59, of Anderson passed away January 17, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Hospital after a sudden illness.

Mike was born December 19, 1958, in Anderson. He was a 1977 graduate of Highland High School and had worked for Hamilton South Eastern School Corporation. He was a loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Crystal L. (Trenton) Karas; grandchildren, Austin McKissack, Whitney McKissack, Janessa McKissack, Merrick Karas, and Saphira Karas; brothers, Roy Kim Smith, Monty Millage, and Kyle Millage; sister’s, Nancy Smith and Judy Byrne; special nephew, Cody Smith; and several other nephews, nieces, aunts, uncle and cousins.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James K. and Mary Coomer Smith Millage, step-dad, Robert Millage, his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church, 2717 S. Central Way, Anderson, IN. Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. with a dinner following the service at the church.
