Michael "Mike" Eugene Cravens

Michael “Mike” Eugene Cravens, age 62, of Elwood, passed away on June 6, 2023, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on March 16, 1961, in Anderson, Indiana to the late Hughey Cravens and Anna (Buck) Didion.

Mike was a fun-loving, free spirit, life of the party personality.  He was an avid football fan, enjoyed watching Nascar, camping, cooking, and traveling. He was an entrepreneur throughout his life, having owned many restaurants around the area. He was a wonderful father, brother, son, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mike is survived by his two children Rebecca Cravens and Cameron Cravens; siblings Vicki Didion, Charles (Angi) Didion Jr., Michael (Karen) Didion, Teresa (Ritt) Poling, Sandra (Greg) Hege, and Lisa Carpenter; stepsister Tina (Terry) Brown; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Hughey Cravens, mother Anna Didion, and stepfather Charles Didion Sr.

A visitation will be held on Thursday June 15, 2023, from 11am-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
