Michael Joseph McGuire, age 42, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025.

Michael was a beloved son, brother, friend, and artist. He was known for his quick wit, gentle spirit, and deep compassion for others. In the face of life’s challenges, he remained resilient and grounded in his faith. His relationship with Jesus Christ was central to his life, offering him hope, peace, and strength.

Following a traumatic brain injury in 2013, Michael rediscovered himself through art. His creative work reflected his unique way of seeing the world—honest, expressive, and full of depth. He also found great comfort in the companionship of his loyal dog, Birdie, who remained by his side through the years.

Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Dee Dee McGuire, and his sister, Sarah (McGuire) Hutchins, maternal grandparents Elmer & Eula Jean Daupert and paternal grandparents Warren & Evelyn McGuire.

He is survived by loving father, Terry McGuire, his aunt and painting mentor, Donna (Tom) Johnson, uncle Dennis (Beverly) McGuire, brother-in-law Kevin Hutchins, his cherished nephews, Payton & Parker Hutchins, and many family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
