Melroy "Mike" Donald Wilson

In Remembrance of Melroy Donald Wilson, born in Murray City, OH on May 3, 1942, passed away on October 22, 2023, in Anderson, IN.

Mike went to be with our Lord and Savior in heaven. He was a loving, caring husband, dad, and grandfather. He loved his only daughter and had a blast with his grandchildren. He used to work at Little Folks Portraits and Ray Hopkins Studio as a photographer. He enjoyed traveling and taking pictures. He served in the United States Army in 1964. He graduated from Union Local High School in Morristown, OH Class of 1962. He was a member of the United Brethren Chapel Church in Anderson, attended Linwood and Riverview Christian Church in Alexandria. He loved playing piano wherever he attended church. He worked for CATS City Bus Garage until he retired from that in 2005. He worked as a school bus driver for St. Mary’s School in Anderson and South Madison School Corp. in Pendleton, retiring from that in 2003.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Ethel (Coakley) Wilson, brother Rick Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Kay Wilson, daughter Angela (Dennis) Jarvis, grandsons Anthony and Travis Carmack, sister Sharon Wilson, sister-in-law Cindy Mercer Wilson, nieces and nephews Kimberly (Mike) Broyle, Michael Broyle, Paula (Cody) Wilson, Aiden, Elijah, Lucy, Sammy, and Richard (Heather) Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family for funeral expenses.

A visitation will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023, from 4-6pm with a funeral service beginning at 6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson.
