Mary Michele “Shelley” Miller, born on September 22, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 6, 2025.
As a dedicated medical transcriptionist, Shelley brought precision and care to her work, reflecting her strong work ethic and attention to detail. Her passions outside of work revealed a passion for the arts. Shelley was a talented artist herself, enjoying creative pursuits that brought beauty to her world. In addition to her artistic aspirations, Shelley had a deep appreciation for the works of Nancy Noel. She had a fondness for jewelry and found joy in shopping for unique pieces.
Throughout her life, she nurtured a love for nature, especially evident in her admiration for hummingbirds, which she often watched with delight. She cherished her family and demonstrated her love through countless outings in local parks, where she made lasting memories. She shared many happy moments with her close group of lifelong friends. Perhaps one of her most cherished times of year was Halloween, which she celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Shelley is survived by her brother, Todd (Rhonda) Williamson; nephews, Colton and Tristin (McKinzi) Williamson; and Great-nephew, Graylin and Great-Niece, Emeri. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Authur and Margaret Williamson; sister, Terri Lynn; and life partner, Tim Hawkins.
A visitation will be held on November 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, both taking place at 5215 Shadeland Ave, Lawrence, Indianapolis, IN. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many.
