Mary Catherine Voelker

Mary Catherine Voelker, 95, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She was born October 6, 1927, in Linton, Indiana, to Thomas and Ruth Scroggins. She was a loving wife of 48 years to John Voelker. On Indy’s West side she was referred to as “The Avon Lady” for over 30 years achieving Presidents Club status, she was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, West Terre Haute Chapter #428and a avid euchre member. She is survived by a large circle of family, loved ones and friends including her two sons and daughter, Frank Voelker (Angie Ward -Voelker), John Voelker and Karen Guthrie (Shane Guthrie); Grandchildren, Katie Payne (Tyler Payne), Mark Voelker, Jonathan Voelker, Lydia Volker and Tai Guthrie; 5 Great-grandchildren and Caregiver (Amy Brantner). Services will be held at Legacy Cremation Funeral Services Thursday November 17, 2022. Visitation will be 12pm – 1:30 pm with service to follow at 1:30 pm. Mary will then be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
