Mary Francis (Rippy) Beinburg, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 2, 2026. She was born on May 2, 1940, in Franklin, Kentucky, to the late Hubert E. and Ida C. (Calvert) Rippy. Mary went to Beech Grove High School. She was a Materials Support Specialist for RCA (Thomson Consumer Electronics) and retired from RCA. Following her retirement, Mary moved to Florida, a place she truly loved and enjoyed calling home.

Mary was a faithful member of two churches, one in Indiana and one in Florida. Her faith was an important part of her life.

Mary loved square dancing, faithfully attending church, going yard selling, collecting cookie jars, and buying and looking at houses. Square dancing was especially close to her heart. In the mid-1980s, Mary and her friends won a state square dancing competition, a special accomplishment and memory she carried with her throughout her life.

She especially loved being in Florida and enjoyed making memories with her family. Above all, Mary loved her family and cherished the life she was blessed to live.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Beinburg, and her two sisters, Glenda Simpson and Peggy Lloyd.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Smith; sons, Darrell Smith and Hubert Smith; grandchildren, Donald Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Zachary Taylor, and Chad Jones; siblings, Brenda Hillenburg, Barbara Wilham, and Paul Rippy; along with lots of nieces and nephews and friends.
