Mark Anthony Michael

Mark Anthony Michael was born on October 23, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Vernon Clyde Michael and Brenda Joyce Michael (Leary). He passed away on January 24, 2026, in Anderson, Indiana.

Mark was a proud graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana, where he completed his education in 1987. His career led him to DC Construction, where he worked diligently since 2023. Mark celebrated his love for Cortney Michael (Johnson) when they exchanged vows on August 15, 2009.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed trapping, mushroom hunting, and fishing with his boys. Mark was skilled at woodworking and gardening. He enjoyed NASCAR and the NFL. He had a particular fondness for food and snacking.

Mark is survived by his wife, Cortney Michael (Johnson); sons, Nick Michael (Sam), Kaleb Leppink, Spencer Leppink, and Easton Michael; daughter, Brooklyn (Michael) Turner (Brent); grandchildren, Kai Michael, Nash Michael, and Bentlee Turner; cousin, Tina Leary, and many other cherished cousins and uncles.
