Marilyn Helen Kunce

Anderson – Marilyn (Bevars) Kunce, 88, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on November 30, 2022. Marilyn was born in Anderson on September 22, 1934 to John Floyd and Laura Etta (Lowe) Bevars. She resided in Anderson most of her life and graduated from Anderson High School in 1952.

Beginning in 1953, Marilyn was employed by Container Corp of America located in Anderson where she worked until her retirement in 1995.

For many years, Marylin loved playing shuffleboard and going dancing. She loved classical movies and stars. She had a passionate interest in collecting Native American memorabilia and learning their history and heritage.

However, the most important thing in life to Marilyn was family and good friends. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Kunce) Kartchner and her son Danni Kunce, both of Anderson, IN.

In addition, she is survived by three grandchildren, Daniel Kartchner, Fortville, IN, Jason Kartchner, Pendleton, IN and Eric Kartchner of Pendleton, IN.

She was blessed with and survived by six great grandchildren: Aidan Kartchner, Rileigh and Jonathon Kartchner, and Adalyn, Stella and Charles Kartchner.

Marilyn also leaves behind several wonderful relatives and special friends, including two special nieces, Terri Powers, Versailles IN and Jean Duerstock, Greensburg, IN and her dearest, closet friend, Joyce Looper, Alexandria, IN.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Brother, Robert Jack Bevars; two sisters, Carol (Bevars) Schwanholt and Lorraine Bevars and her Beautiful, Beloved granddaughter Samantha Renee Kunce.

Memorial visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral home, 504 West 9th Street on December 9, 2022 from 12 – 2 pm.
