Marcia Wright

Marcia Lynn Wright, 69, of Ingalls, Indiana, peacefully departed this world on October 29, 2023. Born on January 12, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of the late Everett and Janice Cook.

Marcia graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1973 and engaging in a variety of jobs, all while dedicating herself to the care of her family and home. Her zest for life extended to simple pleasures, and she found immense joy indulging in the arts of coloring and painting, and watching TV.

Marcia was proceeded in death by her parents, Everett and Janice Cook, her loving husband Jesse Wright, and her dear son Jay Doty, as well as her siblings Anna and Gerald.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Doty; grandchildren: Shasta Doty, James "Booshy" Doty and Makaela Doty; great-granddaughter on the way: Aurora Frost; and Marcia's sister, Alice; and brother, Dean Cook; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever remember her warmth and kindness.

Services will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services on Wednesday, November 8^th, 2023. Visitation 12pm to 2pm with a service starting at 2pm. In her memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived and the love that she shared with all of us.
