Manuel Vives Jr.

Manuel Vives, 29, from Anderson IN, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 22nd, 2023, after a difficult battle with Leukemia and Lymphoma. Manny was born on July 4th, 1994, to Mannie Vives and Anna Woods in Detroit, Michigan.

In 2008 Manny met Brittany in middle school. They fell in love and almost instantly became best friends, On April 13, 2011, they conceived a handsome baby boy also named Manuel Vives, aka ManMan. In 2012 he met Ambriel and on December 1st, 2014, a beautiful baby girl Aria Nicole Vives came and joined their love. Later on, Manny met Jackie, and later came pretty Bella who joined their loving family. Manny's children were his entire world and there was not anything he would not do for them.

Manny was a force of nature, determined to provide for his kids and give them the best life he felt they deserved, His kids meant more to him than anything else in this world, something he often mentioned was how much he loved each and every one of them.

Manny was passionate about music and in his free time you could find him writing and rapping about his life. Manny lived and loved hard, if anyone could say anything else to these words, they’d say he had a big heart and loved his friends and family, but most of all… HE LOVED HIS KIDS NO MATTER WHO OR WHAT.

Anyone who knew Manny knew that he was the most loving father, beloved son, and cherished brother his family could ask for. Many of Manny’s friends were loved as family and will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his father Mannie, mother Anna, his 4 children Emily, ManMan, Aria and Bella; As well as his 5 siblings Germaly, Carlos, Joel, Bethany, Eva Angel Mateo.
