Malachi Isaiah May, born on October 30, 2006, in Indianapolis, Indiana, left this world too soon on April 17, 2025. Educated at Southport High School, Malachi was known as a talented athlete and loyal friend. He had recently begun his career in plumbing alongside his uncle.
Malachi was not only dedicated to his work but also developed a profound love for sports, often immersing himself in the intricacies of football, basketball, and baseball. Whether it was studying plays or the strategy behind his favorite sports, he approached every challenge with enthusiasm. His pride in building things reflected his hands-on approach to life, showcasing his creativity and resourcefulness.
Malachi cherished the moments spent on snowy slopes snowboarding with friends and enjoyed canoe trips as well as camping that created lasting memories.
He is remembered fondly by his Aunt Kim Stevens; father, Gary W. May Jr; siblings, Memphis W May, Noah Wright, Aubree May, Nathan J. Stevens Jr, Chase Donnelly, and River R May; grandparents, Peggy Hall (Pete), Gary W. May Sr, Honda Wright (Nathaniel),; aunts, Tomi Dawn Elliott, Nicole Gabriel, Maudy Wright (Kerry), Dottie Dakota Kay May, Monteal May; uncles, Charles Wilber, Joseph Hall, and several cousins. Malachi is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sarah A. May, grandfather, Roscoe May Jr, and grandmother, Frances L. Kimberlin.
