Lynn Weatherly

Lynn Weatherly, 69, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022.  This wonderful, funny, kind, and faithful Mother, sister, grandmother and friend will be sorely missed by the many people who knew and loved her.

Born in Indianapolis to Charles and Betty Weatherly, Lynn and her sister Claudia grew up and attended school on the east side of the city.  Lynn graduated from Indiana University and began her career in marketing and advertising at Adlib, a small boutique ad agency in Indianapolis.

From there, she moved to New York where she worked for the J. Walter Thompson ad agency.  In 1982 she relocated to Portland where she got married.  The newlyweds moved to California where her two beloved daughters, Allie Lindsay and Kaiti Lindsay Orf were born.

Her final move was back home to Indianapolis where she raised her daughters and continued working in marketing.

Her circle of friends and relatives was totally diverse, but united in their love for this amazing soul.  Her friendship, guidance, humor, and straightforward point of view were cherished traits to everyone.

Lynn is survived by her daughters, Allie Lindsay and Kaiti Lindsay Orf, her five grandchildren, Jackson Bane, Harper Short, Hadley Short, Sabine Orf, Siena Orf, and her sister Claudia Weatherly.

Lynn was an active member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers, Indiana. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, following will be her funeral mass at 11:00 AM on her birthday, July 21st.
