Lonneta "Lonnie" Mars

Lonneta “Lonnie” Mars, 73 of Beech Grove, Indiana was called to her heavenly home on October 24, 2022.  She was the daughter of Clifford and Helen Lane.  She was a graduate of Carmel High School.  Lonnie was passionate about her faith, cooking, decorating her home, traveling in her younger years and an avid dog lover. Lonnie retired from AUL/One America as an accountant.  She enjoyed being with her family.  She was loved by all the children in the neighborhood.  She will be fondly remembered as the “Grandma” to the neighborhood children.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38yrs Jeff Mars, their children Cliff Robinson, Todd Robinson, daughter Karen (Jamie) Snoddy and granddaughter Karina.  Her 2 lifelong best friends, Sharon Rapp and Helen Dammann. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: John and Rick Lane.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Faith in Christ Ministries Church located at 920 Laurel Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203 from 3pm until 630pm.
