Lois A. Tatman

Lois A. Tatman, age 69, passed away at Community Hospital in Anderson on November 27, 2022. She was born in Tipton, IN to Franklin and Phyllis Longnecker on October 31, 1953.

Lois worked for Dickies Nursing Home in Elwood for 20+ years, before retiring from Forum Credit Union in 2006. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach, cookouts, crocheting, and watching her grandson wrestle growing up. She absolutely loved Italian food and Tuesdays were always pizza night with Lois. Her friends and family were extremely important to her. Lois was one of the nicest people you could meet, she truly did not have a mean bone in her body. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by her husband of 24 years, Michael Tatman; children Dennis Gerencser (Jennifer) and Andy Tatman (Denise); grandchildren Julius Gerencser, Allison Geiling (Jamie), Kristin Sallee (Scott), Cody Tatman (Shelby), Johanna Tatman, Arilla Tatman, Ben Tatman, and Ethan Tatman; great-grandchildren Macey, Gracelyn, Dusty, Jason, Matthew, Sonny, and Bonnie; siblings Robert Longnecker (Jean), Nancy Heady, Vickie Havens (Tim), Dennis Longnecker, Karen Grondin (Tim), Bev Groover (Don), Lisa Murry (Bill), and Judy Prince (Darrell); and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, stepson Michael Dustin Tatman, and step-grandson Jacob Tatman.

Cremation services were handled by Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
