Lisa Hoaglan

September 7, 1978 — June 6, 2022

Indianapolis, Indiana

Lisa Leann Hoaglan, at the young age of 43, left her earthly body to meet with her Lord and Savior, The Great Reconciler, Jesus Christ on June 6th 2022.

Lisa, was born the daughter of Myrtle Barton and the late Sammy Barton of Indianapolis. Later adopted by John and Donna Semenick.  She is also  proceeded in death by her brother David Semenick. She is survived by her brother Sammy Semenick Other survivors include her children Kaitlynn Marie Mosiman, Kristen Naomi Elizabeth Holland, Thomas Ray White, and four adored grandchildren.

Lisa made others feel like family too, in her mind and in heart they were. She loved to include friends and even acquaintances, no one was really a stranger when Lisa was around.  One of Lisa’s joys was to make people smile and leave her mark on others. She really understood that small acts of love could turn someone’s day around. Practical joking and laughter were present throughout her life. Lisa, however, endured several severe difficulties in her abbreviated life. She lived through horrific abuse at an early age. Later in life came the struggles of addiction, and finally the ravages of cancer. Her faith in Jesus gave her direction and strength. She fought as God had armored her, never giving up to the torments that she faced. The family is comforted that Lisa touched and inspired many for the better. In the end she remained an encourager, generous, hospitable, and kind-hearted. Lisa will be missed. We believe that our loss is Heaven’s gain.  Rest well in the arms of the Lord Lisa, free of pain. Your smile will endure in our hearts forever.
