Linda Swinford, of Anderson, Indiana passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Anderson to the late Lillburn M. Swinford and Mary Jane (Purnell) Swinford, Linda lived a life marked by resilience, love, and a deep devotion to family.
Linda retired from Kmart of Anderson after many years of dedicated service and held various other jobs throughout her life. She had a love for travel and found her greatest joy in time spent with her family. Linda spent 20 years living in Arkansas—before returning to Anderson about 6 years ago.
She is survived by her son, Scott Swinford (Melissa Arnold), and her daughter, Angela (James) Parks. Linda was a proud grandmother to Melissa Cannon of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Scottie Swinford of Anderson, Indiana; Elisha Shaw of Clinton, Arkansas; Kelsie Shoemaker of Anderson, Indiana; Sivanah Flietner of Arkansas; Jeremy Rodgers and Peyton Rodgers of Battleground, Washington; Halle Bispham and Carter Bispham of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Cecilee Ochoa of Clinton, Arkansas; Alaina Swinford and Cooper Swinford of Anderson, Indiana; Nathan (lora) Shaw of Vilonia Arkansas; Heather(Nick) Conway of Florida; Dustin and Justin Shaw of Arkansas; Henrietta Flietner of Batesville Arkansas; Annabelle and Jayston; and Kayleigh Smith & Jordan Parmley. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved aunt Judy Storms.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Doug Swinford, Lindy Swinford, and Marvin Swinford; and her sisters Teddie Jo Bradberry and Alta Jean Adams.
Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, her adventurous spirit, and the unwavering love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy of warmth and strength will live on in all who knew and loved her.
