Linda Lee Bannon, 80, passedat Miller's Merry Manor on February 14, 2017. She was born in Carlisle,Kentucky on July 20, 1936 to Julian Everett and Flossie Mae Mitchell.
She was a cheerleader at AndersonHigh School, graduating in 1955. She met her future husband, RonaldBannon, at a dentist's office where she was an assistant. They married onApril 20, 1956 and were faithful to each other through six childrenand for over 60 years.
Linda was a member of theRed Hat Society and Indiana State Federation of Poetry Clubs. Shesang in the Purdue Alumni Choir and Bethany Christian ChurchChoir. She was active at the Alexandria Eagles #1771 where she and Roncould be seen on the dance floor.
Linda was a social butterflythat loved poetry, always had candy, and shared kindness, conversation, andencouragement.
Left to cherish Linda'smemory is her husband, Ronald; children, Susie (Jim) Smith, Joseph Bannon, Sandy Blaylock, Ronald'Guy' (Linda) Bannon; sister, Margie Warner; grandchildren, Steven'Ace' (Megan) Bannon, Jordan (Megan) Bannon, Anna (Jon) Xanders , Brandon Blaylock, ZacharyBlaylock, Tyler Bannon, Kyle Bannon, Ryan Bannon, Christopher Bannon, LukeBannon, Joanna Bannon; several great-grandchildren; and niece, Molly (Robert) Guerena .
Preceding Linda in death areher parents; sons, Steven Douglas Bannon and John Patrick Bannon; daughter-in-law,Diane Bannon; grandson, Steven Patrick Bannon; and niece Cindy Warner.
Services will be Friday,February 17 at noon with visitation one hour prior at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services.
