Linda Kay Idlewine, 78, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. Born on July 26, 1947, in Anderson, Linda lived a life filled with curiosity, creativity, and love for the simple joys that made her happiest.
Linda had a unique passion for finding four- and five-leaf clovers, often pressing them in books as cherished keepsakes. She was an enthusiast of classic cars, with a special fondness for her beloved Camaro. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enjoyment of fishing and ice fishing, and when indoors, she found comfort in reading books and playing computer games like Solitaire and Mahjong.
Linda’s home was always warm and welcoming, thanks to her talent for baking delicious desserts. She adored her cats and poodles, who were constant companions throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathleen and Robert Hunt, and her grandson, Todd Idlewine. Linda is survived by her daughter, Lori (Darrin) Cassidy, son, Jeremy Idlewine; siblings Gary (Diana) Hunt, Jim (Jinny) Hunt, and Larry (Linda) Hunt; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Linda’s life was a beautiful blend of family, hobbies, and heartfelt moments. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services in Anderson, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by a memorial service beginning at 2:30 PM.
