Lester M. Williams

Lester M. Williams, age 65, originally from Louisiana, currently of Anderson, passed away at her home on June 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 5, 1956, to Bill and Johnnie Bistrip.

Lester worked and danced as a professional dancer for several years in Louisiana. She was extremely talented and excelled in many types of dancing. Later in life she worked as a deli clerk for Payless Grocery Store. She loved her job and seeing people every day. Lester was stubborn but extremely hard working. She was energetic and could run circles around her family. She was a true sweetheart. She believed in angles and was very spiritual. Her husband Jerry and she loved to travel and do new things together. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lester is survived by her husband of 22 years, Jerry Williams; children Mark Bistrip, Jonathon Walters, Spring Christianson (Adam), and Chris Walters; grandchildren Cambry, Haleigh, Hayden, and Gavin; brother Billy Bistrip; and Mother Johnnie Grace Bistrip.

Lester is preceded in death by her father Bill Bistrip and son Billy Walters.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
