Kristopher "Kris" Brandon Turpen, 36, of Anderson, IN, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 13, 2023. He was born in Anderson on July 4, 1987, to his loving parents Steve Turpen and Billie Jo. Kris' passing leaves behind a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Known for his strong work ethic, Kris established his own business called Turpen & Turpen Maintenance. He dedicated himself to providing exceptional services to his clients. Through hard work and dedication, he built a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy.
Beyond his career achievements, Kris found immense joy in being a devoted father to his children: Taryn, Cheyanne, Kaiden, and Ethan. He cherished every moment spent with them and took pride in teaching them valuable life lessons. Kris deserves the Best Dad award. He stepped up when he didn't have to, showing unwavering love and support for his children.
In addition to being a wonderful father, Kris had a wide range of hobbies and interests that brought him fulfillment. He had a passion for fishing, and collecting guns, knives, bitcoins and stocks, and tools. Furthermore, Kris loved and cherished his dogs Lucky, Harlee, Jax throughout the years. Helping people was another aspect of his life that brought him great satisfaction—all who knew him admired his kind-hearted nature and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Throughout his life, Kris forged meaningful relationships with family members and friends who will forever cherish their memories together. He is survived by his children, Taryn, Cheyanne, Kaiden, and Ethan, mother, Billie Jo, and stepfather Mike, his significant other Neda Cutsinger, and brother-in-law David. He also leaves behind his granddaughter Aria, who held a special place in his heart.
Kris is proceeded in death by his father, Steve Turpen, sister, Elisha Turpen, and dog Lucky.
In this time of profound loss, it is important to remember the joy that Kris brought to the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, dedication to his work, and his kind and compassionate nature. His legacy will endure through the memories he created and the lives he touched.
