Kimmon Joe Ritter

Kimmon Joe Ritter, age 66, of Anderson, passed away at his home on April 20, 2023. He was born on October 23, 1956, in Elwood, IN to Robert Ritter and Elva Mae Crowe.

Kimmon attended Elwood Community Schools. He worked in many professions throughout his life, some being Ex-Cell-O/Textron of Elwood, EMAS Ambulance Service, dispatcher of police, and most recently, a manager at Village Pantry. He never met a stranger if you saw him, but he loved to be a homebody later in life after retirement. He loved to spend time with his family and was constantly listening to the police scanner. He will be missed by so many and never forgotten. He was a wonderful father, brother, son, and friend.

Kimmon is survived by his children Tasha Jones (Monte) and Randy Ritter, of Anderson; mother Elva Mae Crowe; siblings Pam Grogan (Randy) of Elwood and David Ritter (Barbara) of Elwood; nieces and nephews Lindy Ritter (Alan) of Florida, Brent Munns (Lora) of Elwood, Eric Grogan (Jobeth) of Elwood, and Brandon Ritter of Florida; he is also survived by his loving fur babies Freedom, Salem, Mary Jane, Mason, Lucky, Midnight, Liberty, and Salt.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Ritter, nephew Davey Ritter, and ex-wife and best friend Margie Ritter.
