Kenneth O. Calvin

Kenneth Otto Calvin, born May 22, 1943, to Loren and Florence Calvin (Petty). He was married to Linda Calvin (Roell) for 44 years. Ken is survived by four daughters, Shawn (David) Anderson, Pamela (Martin) Sterrett, Donna Story and Elizabeth (John) Lupear. He has eight grandchildren, Tyler (Emma) Sterrett, Brooke Sterrett, Grace Sterrett, Allison Lupear, Samuel Anderson, Katherine Anderson, Claire Story, and Maggie Lupear. He has six great grandchildren, Mallory, Nora, Henry, Brinley, Tucker and Maxwell.

Ken served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam with the 67 Field Maintenance Squadron and 836 Air Division as an Aircraft Mechanic. He proudly served on the Indianapolis Fire Department for 35 years while also working for Target Distribution Center for over 20 years.

Ken was very proud of his family and his service as a fireman. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Shriners, and Master Mason for over 50 years. Ken’s favorite past time was working on cars, watching John Wayne movies, planting flowers in the yard, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
