Kaylee Nicole Gilliland

Kaylee Gilliland, 20, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2022. She was born on May 7th, 2002, in Indianapolis, to Andrew Gilliland and Tara Thompson. Kaylee graduated from South Putnam High School in 2020, where she excelled academically and received awards for academic honors. Kaylee was a shift manager at Taco Bell in Fishers, Indiana.

Kaylee was loved by so many people, and will never be forgotten! She was so smart and outgoing, and had the potential to be any body she wanted to be. She had the most beautiful soul and loved to help others and would go out of her way to put a smile on your face. She impacted the lives of everyone she encountered and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by George Thompson, Mavis Duncan, Ann and Paul Taulbee, and Craig and Joshua Thompson. 

Kaylee is survived by her mother, Tara Thompson and father Andrew Gilliland; siblings: Andrew and Nathan Gilliland; maternal grandparents: Steven Thompson and Sandy (Mike) Fox; maternal great grandparent: Shella Thompson; Aunts and uncles, Shella (Dustin) Thompson, Janelle (Mike) Fox, Joseph, Michael (Gloria) Fox, Kayla (Joel) Fox, Kevin, Anthony and Brandon; Cousins: Kaleb and Maddie Zaragoza, Keegan and Jayce Gayhart, Preston and Kellan Fox, Adeline and Ella McMillan, Kingsley Fox, Maria, Tony, Alexis, and Kevin Gavarrete, and Britney Raupp.
