Kathy Darlene Prewitt

Kathy Darlene Prewitt, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 21, 2023.  She was born on April 19, 1959, in St. Charles, Virginia, to Clarence and Hazel (Crusenberry) Harber.   She worked as a facilities manager for Carmel Clay Schools.  

Kathy loved to gamble, take care of children, work out in the sun, playing games with her grandchildren, and her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hazel Harber; her brothers, Pete, Fred, Dan, and Jim; her sister Carolyn; six nieces and nephews; and her daughters, Lanea Gonzales (Hoskins) and Heather Mandujano (Hoskins).

Kathy is survived by her husband, Michael Prewitt; son, Keith Hoskins (Desirae); grandchildren, Kyra, Alex, Holden, Lillee, and Joseph “Taco”; siblings, Rick, Maria, Jeff, Alicia, Lana Jo, and Ed; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 1pm to 4pm on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Kathy’s sister’s residence (Maria Miracle), 705 N. 10th Street, Elwood, Indiana 46036.  Cremation Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
