Karen Vannatta

Karen Vanatta, age 74, of Chesterfield, passed away at Community Hospital on June 11, 2023. She was born on December 19, 1948 to the late Herbert and Patricia Danner.

Karen retired from General Motors in 2003. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. Karen was sweet, loved her family, and adored her cat Daisy and dog Izzy.

Karen is survived by her son, Todd Vanatta; grandsons Hunter Franks and Aydan Vanatta, siblings Tom (Judy) Danner, Mike (Kathy) Danner, Bob (Teresa) Danner and Patsy Danner; and several nieces and nephews; Longtime boyfriend Francis Staton and family including Bill Staton, Flora Staton, Sydney Staton, Children William (Danny) Staton, Todd (Kamma), Mindy Staton;  Grandchildren Brandon (Kasey) Staton, Ashley  (Andrew), Sargeant, Kaitlyn Roberts, Todd (Kyleigh) Staton, and Shaylee Staton; Great grandchildren: Mercury, Ravin, Brently, Issaiah, Carson, Willow, Layna, Noah, and Navy.

Karen was proceeded in death by her parents listed above; Troy Staton and Anthony Roberts.

A celebration of life will be held on July 5^th, 2023 at South Meridian Church of God 2402 Meridian St. Anderson, IN 46016 at 6pm with Pastor Steve Wimmer officiating.
