Joesph Allen Hynes, Sr (Joe)

September 25, 1952 - September 22, 2023

Was a life-long tradesman in the building industry who had a passion for woodworking and other hobbies. He loved being out on his motorcycle with his family, especially his wife Linda. He was a a master-of-many trades. He was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. He always took in “stray” kids when his kids were young. All the kids called him Dad. He was a master camper, fisherman, and boat captain. He taught his kids to enjoy the outdoors and multi-family camping trips to Raccoon Lake and Lake Monroe.

He married his wife, Linda in 1982, and always teasingly said her sister Ruthie was his second wife.

Joe had many children, though his was a blended family, the words step, and half were not used because everyone was considered blood.

Joe was survived by:

Son- Joey Jr (4 children, 7 grandchildren)

Daughter- Jennifer (2 children, 3 grandchildren)

Daughter- Dawn and Don (4 children, 3 grandchildren)

Daughter- Chrystal and David (2 children)

Daughter- Sarah

Daughter- Michelle and Shannon (3 children, 3 grandchildren)

Son- David and Mona (2 children)

Byron, Arturo, Gloria, Bo, Bryce, and Angel.

4 brothers and a sister, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Joe was preceded in death by his baby sister, his parents and 2 brothers.

He enjoyed spending time with family most of all. Throughout his hard-fought battle right through the end, he was surrounded by those who loved him, admired him, and will miss him dearly.
