Joe Davis

Joseph Dee Davis, passed away in Greenwood, Indiana on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the age of 68. Joe was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 23, 1957, to Etsel Dee Davis and Una Mae (Lamb).

Joe loved spending time with his family and friends. His preferred pass time with them was playing any sort of card or board game. He was especially good at chess! When he was not playing board games with his family, he enjoyed fishing! Joe would go fishing any time he could and always had a great time whether he caught a bunch of fish or not!

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Una Mae (Lamb) Yates; sister, Jenny Davis; and his stepdaughter, Michelle Hayes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Ann Davis; his father, Etsel Dee Davis and stepmother, Dora Davis; one brother Frank Davis; five step brothers and one step sister; his stepdaughter Amber Pitman; as well as seven grandchildren.
