Johnnie Mac Brown

Johnnie Mac Brown, 66, passed away on November 23, 2024, in Marshall, Illinois. He was born on March 1, 1958, in Indianapolis, IN to Lowell Thomas Brown and Mary Jane Lambert Brown. Johnnie Mac made an impact wherever he went throughout his life including his final resting place of Indianapolis, IN. He worked for AAA for over 20 years and was a tow truck driver and mechanic for even longer.

His favorite memories were always either fishing, working on vehicles or being with his family. He always loved to tell stories even if he told them to you a million times already he wouldn't care he'd tell you again.

He is preceded in death by his parents, listed above; his loving wife Wynona, his brother Greg, his grandson Devin and his great granddaughter Skylar. Left to celebrate his memory are: his children Fonzie, Becky, and JT along with his grandchildren Izaiah, Mark, Mollie, Jacob, Janis, Raven, and Briseis as well as his great grandchildren Karlee, Bailee, Rylee, Mary and Linda.

Visitation will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services—Lawrence on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00PM with services to follow at 3:00PM. Johnnie Mac Brown will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park Cemetery with beloved family. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requests a donation in order to pay off his debts.
