John Hilleary Vogt of Noblesville, IN passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 24, 1944 in Biloxi, MS to John Henry and Jean Hilleary Vogt.
John attended Bradley University. He went on to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He worked for many years as a Sales Executive in the Banking industry. In retirement, he was always helping others and giving back through volunteer work. He also served as a caregiver for Senior Home Companions. He will be remembered as a proud family man and loving husband who loved life and was always kind and optimistic.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Susan Vogt; children Michael Andrew Vogt (Heather), Amy Henderson (Richard), Steven Vogt (Paula), and David Vogt (Kim); grandchildren Jacob, Katie and Ellie Vogt, Nicholas Henderson (Katie), Cailyn Henderson, Addison and Sydney Vogt, and Jonathan and Helena Vogt; as well as his sister Lisa Carreras (Bob).
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Linda Denman (Denny).
A Private Memorial Service is being held. He will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL in May of 2024.
