John R. Thompson

John R. Thompson, 68 of Indianapolis. Passed away January 10, 2016. He was born September 1, 1947 to the late William M Jr. & Lauretta Thompson. He was retired from GM Truck and Bus. John was a member of the Moose Lodge. He was proceeded in death by his sister; Brenda English; brother, Tim Thompson; nephew, Michael Thompson. John is survived by his wife; Ruby D. Thompson; daughters, Jonna (Darrell) Everroad, Amy (Larry) Cook and Angie (Andy) Scroggs; sisters, Debbie Browning, Elizabeth Thompson and Mary Pardee; brother, Bob Thompson; step-daughters, Jamie L. Hawblitzel, Heather M. Burries; 6 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services at 1604 W. Morris St, Indianapolis, In from 5PM ~ 9PM. Funeral services will be held at same location on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11AM, with burial to follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
