John Nathan Blakely

John N. Blakely (Nathan), age 39, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Eskenazi hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on November 15, 1982, in Indianapolis, to John Earl Blakely, Jr. and Tammy Rose Trackwell.

Nathan had a smile that could light up any room! He worked for several years laying floor and other various construction jobs. He owned his own company for a while as well. He enjoyed camping and was very adventurous. He will be very missed by everyone that knew him. More than anything Nathan will be remembered for having the biggest heart and the kindest soul.

Nathan is survived by his mother, Tammy Trackwell; stepfather, Michael Hamilton; a child; Nathanial Price; brothers, Ryan VanDuyn, Dalton (Shelby) Hamilton, Brandon Coble, Michael Hamilton, Jr.; sisters, Ashley Blakely and Heather Hamilton-Templet; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.

Nathan was preceded in death by his father John Earl Blakely, Jr.; grandmother, Mary Ellen Singleton; grandfather, John Lewis Singleton; uncle, Mike Trackwell; and aunt Debbie Shirels.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services located at 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis, IN 46221 at 1:00 PM.
