John Michael Kelliher 
 Born March 14, 1958, to John R and Betty J Kelliher of Indianapolis 
 Mike graduated from Chatard High School where he was on the wrestling team and made good friends with neighborhood kids. 
 He developed his lifelong love for animals and cooking. 
 Mike attended West Baden culinary institute. 
 Beginning his career as a renowned chef in New Orleans, he loved working in big and small restaurants/kitchens/catering his whole career and was known for his elaborate ice sculptures.
 He met the love of his life Jill Bridgewater and they married August 21 —1999 
 They were proud of their fur-babies —from tiny pugs and dachshunds to big boxers—all adopted from shelters —— 
 Mike and Jill did not have children but loved their nieces and nephews and shared many good times with family. 
 Mike carved great Halloween pumpkins and made fantastic holiday dinners. 
 He loved music, motorcycles, car racing, a cold drink and a cigarette and the Colts. 
 He played wicked card games and board games! 
 He worked hard until cancer caused him to be retired. 
 Mike is survived by his wife Jill. 
 He has a sister Sharon Williams 
 He thanks his doctors, nurses and caregivers who have taken care of him these last 4 years. 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Community Health Network Foundation
 
 Visitation will be at Legacy - Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, at 10am on Tuesday, March 26, 2024; Memorial Service will begin at 11am.
