Jimmy Ellingwood

Jimmy L. Ellingwood Jr, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2022. He was born in Anderson, IN on January 21, 1982, to Jimmy Ellingwood Sr. and Penny Rae Ellingwood.

Jimmy was a man who was always willing to help whenever anyone needed it. When he could, he loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the kids. He worked at the racetrack off and on over the years. He worked for the Frankton Fire Department, Mad. Co. Fire Department, and had a passion for helping people as a firefighter. He was a good-hearted person who lost his way in the end. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Mandy Ellingwood; children Madison, Megan, Montana, Daniel, Michael, Whitney, Dakota, and Caleb; 6 grandchildren; Mother Penny Rae Ellingwood; mother-in-law Penny Groover; and sister-in-law Kara Martin.

He is preceded by his father Jimmy Ellingwood Sr., grandparents, and stepson Travis Gustin.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
