Jenni Lynn Coon

Jenni Lynn Coon, 67, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2026. Born on November 1, 1959, Jenni lived a life marked by kindness, creativity, generosity, and unwavering love for those around her.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Jenni had a joyful spirit that brightened every room she entered. She was known for her sweet nature, positive outlook, and genuine care for others.

Jenni was a talented artist who found beauty in the world around her and shared it through her creativity. She also enjoyed gardening. Her generosity extended beyond her family as she supported children's charities and sought opportunities to help others whenever she could.

She graduated from Highland High School in 1978 and later worked for Madison County, where she served her community with dedication.

Jenni leaves behind her loving husband, Michael Coon; her daughters, Marisa (Michael) Carr and Katie (Drew) Rodgers; her cherished grandchildren, Noel and Gus; her brother, Bret Gossage; her sister, DeeAnn (Ralph) Keesling; her nephews, Austin Keesling and Taylor Gossage; and her niece, Mackenzie Campbell.

Jenni was preceded in death by her parents Jonah and Betty (Pace) Gossage; and brother, Michael Gossage.

Though her family grieves her loss, they find comfort in the countless memories she created and the love she shared so freely. Jenni's legacy of kindness, compassion, creativity, and joy will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
